Sozay To Collab With Cannabis Heavyweights Kottonmouth Kings On New Single, "Stoners New Year"

Los Angeles rapper Sozay, has enlisted some help from his So Cal counterparts the Kottonmouth Kings on his new single, "Stoners New Year". The single and video will debut on 4/20 and comes just in time for the Kottonmouth Kings "Kaos & Kronik Tour" with Psychopathic Records artists Twiztid. When asked about how the project came about Sozay had this to say, "I toured last Spring with The Dirtball and he was real cool. That was my first real contact with the Sub-Noize camp. I pretty much knew when the opportunity presented itself I would get KMK on a track. What better opportunity than 4/20." This marks the first time the southern California hip-hop artists will collaborate and it is sure to have an amazing impact on the underground hip-hop community. Sozay Shooting Video For Highly Anticipated New Single, "Stoners New Year"

Los Angeles rapper, Sozay will be filming the video for his latest single, "Stoners New Year" at an undisclosed location. Sozay teams up yet again with Emmy Award winning director Steve Guerrero of Fox Sports and similar to their first work, "High Hopes", the two prepare you for a trip through cannabis wonderland. The video also marks the second time Sozay will be working with latin bombshell Yvette Martinez. Some of you may recall the two were cast together in the 2010 video, "Last Call" from Sozay's debut EP, 'Who Is Sozay'. In addition to Martinez, two other lovely ladies will be cast in the "Stoners New Year" video, Kristi James and Lauren Smith. Although not confirmed as of yet, sources close to the rapper have hinted there will also be a special guest appearance for the track, however, no one specific was named. With the talent of this seasoned director and artist working side by side, and of course with the visual aid of the stunning video vixens, this project should again leave audiences begging for more.

Sozay officially released his fourth and final single, "Higher" feat. Lupe Fiasco & Corey F.A.M.E., off the 'Dance With The Devil' mixtape hosted by Nu Jerzey Devil. The release comes on the heels of Sozay's first single, "Buck" with G.O.O.D. Music recording artist Pusha-T and his second single, "Dirty Money" featuring Def Jam recording artist Ace Hood have had hip-hop blogs, including XXL.com, on fire this past two weeks. Sozay enrolled Chicago's prodigal son for this track which displays both the artists lyrical acrobatics over a synth heavy beat. The track also features Inglewood's very own Corey F.A.M.E. whose vocals on the hook compliment both emcees very well. 'Dance With The Devil' is scheduled for release on August 30, 2011.
